Armen Antranikian
When I was nine years old, and growing up in Germany, I already wanted to become a film director. Inspired by my father’s Super 8 home movies, I started using shoeboxes with a cut hole as a camera. When my parents bought a video camera, I loved experimenting with it and creating small projects with friends. Nothing has stopped me from making films ever since.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2011, after being accepted to the graduate program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Previously, I lived in London where I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of the Arts London. I've had work picked up for distribution at renowned festivals, and been named a 'Director to Watch' by UK’s movieScope magazine.

I’m passionate about storytelling, and I try to maintain consistent and uncompromising principles. I’m drawn to memorable characters and heartwarming stories that resonate on a personal level. It’s my goal to delight audiences with engaging work and, to quote the UK’s Observer, “make films with universal appeal that will be seen by people all over the world”.
